My stories have been published +50 times in the biggest Finnish travel magazine Mondo, Apu-lehti, local Finnish newspapers (e.g. Helsingin Uutiset) and sustainability blog Ekoarki.

In English, I've written multiple in-dept website articles about topics such as social corporate responsibility and food security.

I can research, interview, script, edit and create concepts for short videos and documentaries. For instance, I've contributed to videos about Human Rights Watch research reports, and marketing videos for Youtube about an agricultural agtech enterprise SMARTKAS.

I have written, proofread and translated multiple website copies and blogs for companies such as digital marketing agency Spotzer and media solutions company Meltwater. I have drafted thousands of TV show and film descriptions at entertainment data provider Gracenote (Nielsen company).

I completed my Research Master's Degree at the Graduate School of Communication at the University of Amsterdam, an institution ranked as #1 in Europe in the field. I gained expertise in interviewing, content analysis, and focus groups. My Master's Thesis looked into how socially conscious films could change the perceptions of viewers about marginalized groups.

The fruits of my academic learnings resulted in a research study interviewing heritage and city planning experts on community engagement as part of the EU-funded OpenHeritage - project, and a co-authorship in a project description of the Innocastle -project in the Journal of European Landscapes.

Many of my ideas are showcased as compelling campaigns and content on various digital channels. In the EU-funded Innocastle - project, I managed all social messaging on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. At Human Rights Watch I managed @HRWPress -Twitter account for media professionals.

Planning and executing day-to-day communication activities, such as crafting newsletters, designing posters or simple infographics, writing press releases and managing websites is something I have done in many of my various positions.
